Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress who is best famous for her portrayal of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well on NBC's Providence drama, and the medicine drama The Resident. She also received acclaim for her bold television debut as Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Snitch are among her most notable film roles. She is reportedly making a film adaptation of the writer's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas as well as Charley Parlapanides. They were the pair that wrote the film Immortals. She is also filming for an upcoming series called Gods & Heroes.
