David-Muir
David Muir (born August 25 1948) is an American anchor, journalist and reporter. He is most well-known for his show World News Tonight. His show with its dramatic clips of celebrity gossip on video as well as his witty gestures have been voted the top news show in America. The anchor is also famous for his Emmy-nominated series Made In America. He was his predecessor Diane Sawyer's main replacement anchor before he took over ABC World News Tonight. ABC News has broadcast many specials in primetime, the most recent being Breaking Point Heroin in America. The reporter has covered stories from all over the globe, including in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He has received numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards along with honours and prizes of the Associated Press.
