Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four kids born August 9, 1976, from Beaumont Puy in Domme. Her parents a dental surgeon and teacher recognized and encouraged her passion for theater and acting from a young age which superseded an initial desire to be a primatologist due to her passion for monkeys. The rise was swift for her to be an internationally renowned young actor. When she graduated in 1998, her education, she was selected to take part in Jeunes Premiers an French TV talent-scouting programme sponsored by Canal+. There she won the award for Best Young Actress in Beziers Festival of Young Actors. It was this that led her to pursue a professional acting career. Tautou went to church and Institut Catholique de Paris during her childhood, but she is now separating herself from these upbringings. As well as her acting profession she started a modelling career. Also, she is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is often referred to as The Chanel Muse. Additionally, she is a keen interest in photography and recently exhibited her work for the Arles Festival under the title Superficial. She focuses her photography on celebrity, fame and the media that scrutinised her after her emergence on the scene as Amelie. Also, she has a number of photographs featuring herself. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and acclaim with her big performance in Le Fabuleux of Amelie Poulain. Amelie was a global success at the box office and was awarded awards across the globe. It's the most-grossing French film to be released in the United States. After this film's success, Tautou appeared in a wide range of film productions ranging that ranged from British dramas such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles and moving into Hollywood through Ron Howard's direction of The Da Vinci Code, a Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
